1. Who we are

JourneyStack is a product of Portis Cloud Services, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada. We provide software that helps tour operators automatically request and collect reviews from their customers.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

  • Account information — when you sign up, we collect your email address and company name. We use passwordless (magic link) authentication, so we never store a password.
  • Trip and customer data — tour operators upload guest information (names and email addresses) to send review request emails. This data is stored on your behalf to deliver the service.
  • Usage data — we may collect basic information about how you use the platform (e.g. pages visited, actions taken) to improve the product.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the JourneyStack service
  • Send automated review request emails on behalf of tour operators
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising purposes.

4. Third-party services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the platform:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (data stored on secure cloud infrastructure)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Vercel — application hosting

Each provider has its own privacy policy and is bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your rights

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
